Shahid Zia Smriti Gold Cup Cricket Tournament has been inaugurated at Manpura, Bhola . This cricket tournament is organized under the initiative of Hajir Hat Bandhu Mahal.

The inaugural match of this cricket tournament was held on Saturday (December 07) at 2 pm at Hajir Hat Govt. Model Secondary School ground of the upazila.

Former General Secretary of Upazila BNP Alhaj Abdul Mannan Howladar inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest. Convener of Upazila Jubodal Shamsuddin Ahmed Molla, senior joint convener Md. Kamal Uddin, member secretary Hafez A. Rahim were as special guests.

Daser Hut Cricket XI and Jacob College Cricket XI participated in the inaugural game.
