Gazaria (Munshiganj) Correspondent

A house in Gazaria, Munshiganj, has been reported to have been destroyed by fire. The incident took place at around 2 am on Sunday (December 1) in the main house of Tetaitala village in Baluakandi union of the upazila. The victim’s family said that at least 16-17 lakh taka was damaged in the incident. They claim that someone set the house on fire due to a previous enmity.
Gazaria Fire Service and Civil Defense Station Officer Rifat Mallick said that after receiving the information, they rushed to control the fire. An investigation is underway to find out where the fire started.
Gazaria Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahbubur Rahman said that no one has complained about the incident. If a complaint is received, legal action will be taken after investigating.
