A human chain program was held in Netrokona demanding a thorough investigation into the BDR murder in Pilkhana, the release of innocent jailed BDR members, and the reinstatement of all dismissed BDR members.
An hour-long human chain program was held on the road in front of the Press Club in the district town on Wednesday afternoon at the initiative of the BDR Welfare Council Netrokona District Branch. During the human chain, 155 former BDR members of the district, along with more than three hundred men, women and children from their families participation delivered speeches, BDR Welfare Council Netrokona District Branch President Nayek Subedar Hafizur Rahman, General Secretary Md. Akbar Hossain, BDR members Md. Abu Naser Sohag, Abdul Momin, Asadul Haque, Zakir Hossain, Al-Amin, Shamim Hossain, etc.
At that time, the speakers demanded a thorough investigation into the 2009 Peelkhana massacre, the release of innocent jailed BDR members, and the reinstatement of all dismissed BDR members.
