A passenger of a connecting flight of US-Bangla Airlines (BS-343) from Dhaka to Dubai via Chittagong was searched and 921,500 Saudi riyals were recovered.

These riyals were found from a passenger named Dulal Jamaddar on Tuesday (November 26) morning.
The public relations officer of Shah Amanat International Airport said that the flight crew offloaded him in Chittagong due to suspicious movements.
Later, US Bangla authorities contacted him with his hand luggage to the security branch. At one stage of interrogation, he confessed that he had foreign currency with him.
Later, the Airport Security Branch (AVSEC), Air Force Task Force, Customs and Intelligence agencies, including the concerned were informed. In the presence of everyone, the passenger was handed over to the airport customs.
