Locals of Char Elahi Union in Companiganj Upazila of Noakhali have formed a human chain and protested demanding the hanging of the murderers of BNP President and former UP Chairman Abdul Matin Tota.
On Sunday (November 24), relatives of the deceased and locals held a program on the road in front of the Noakhali Judge’s Court at around 11:30 am.
Former BNP President of Char Elahi Union Hossain Member and former General Secretary Abul Khair Master addressed the rally.
It is worth mentioning that on the night of August 27, a group of armed Awami terrorists hacked and seriously injured BNP leader and former UP chairman Abdul Matin Tota in Char Elahi Bazar. He died while undergoing treatment on August 30, four days after the incident.
