Rumors spreading on social media..! about Pakistani ship that’s was coming from Pakistan to Bangladesh!

Onion, Potato, Sodium Carbonate, Dates& raw materials of garment industry had came to Chittagong port.

The first time goods have been directly brought to Chittagong port in containers from Pakistan’s Karachi port. Due to the recent country’s context and political equation, there is already a lot of discussion on social media. The countrymen are eagerly waiting to see what was brought from Karachi, Pakistan in this ship.

According to information from Chittagong Port, 370 single containers were unloaded from MV Yuan Jian Fa Zhong at Chittagong Port. Among them, 297 single containers came from Karachi in Pakistan and 73 single containers came from United Arab Emirates.

According to customs sources, out of 297 containers from Pakistan, 115 containers contain sodium carbonate. The second highest import product is the mineral dolomite. Dolomite is in 46 containers. Limestone has been brought in a total of 35 single containers. Magnesium carbonate is brought in six containers. Also broken glass raw material of glass industry has been brought in 10 containers. There are 28 containers of raw materials, fabrics, dyes, etc. for the 100% export-oriented garment industry.
Chittagong Port Secretary Omar Farooq told Morning Glory that the ship left Chittagong port last Tuesday and soon the importers will start the process of releasing the goods.

Apart from industrial raw materials in 42 single containers, there are 611 tons of onions in these containers. Apart from this, 203 tons of potatoes were imported in 14 single containers. Apart from Pakistan, the containers brought from UAE contain products such as dates, gypsum, scrap iron, marble blocks, copper wire, resin etc. Whiskey, vodka and wine come in just one container.
