Return of the child after adoption

A seven-month-old baby was adopted by his parents. He took 40 thousand taka in exchange. But after a month, they filed a police complaint to get the child back. After receiving the complaint, police rescued the child. Such an incident happened in Durgapur upazila of Netrakona.
It is known that a son was born to Rakibul Hasan Rabbi and Sasalima Akhtar of Ketta village of Kakairgara union of Durgapur upazila. They decided to adopt the child because of the lack of care. Later, Aminul Islam and Maleka Khatun of Zakirpara village of Gaonkandiya Union of the same upazila adopted the child on September 30 in exchange of forty thousand taka. On Wednesday (November 06), the couple of Rakibul Hasan Rabbi and Saslima Akhtar filed a complaint at the police station. After receiving the complaint, the police rescued the child and brought him to the police station. Police returned the child to the first adoptive parents after negotiations between the two sides on Thursday (November 07) afternoon.
After getting his child back, Rakibul Hasan Rabbi said, I made a mistake. Now I got my baby back.
Adopted childless Aminul Islam said, I have no child for 14 years. So I adopted a baby boy and gave them 40 thousand taka. Yesterday the police went and brought me and the baby to the police station and gave them the baby. Didn’t even refund my money. my wife is sick now and it becomes difficult to save her.
Durgapur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter.
