Awami League leaders sent to jail in Nachole

Nachole Upazila Awami League general secretary and former chairman of Upazila Parishad Abdul Quader and organizational secretary Royal Bisas have been sent to jail for explosives and extortion cases by learned Nachole Administrative Court-2 judge Mst Ishita Shabnam. When Abdul Quader and Royal appeared in court on Sunday to surrender, the court judge denied them bail and sent them to jail.
According to the statement of the case, the farmer Estab Ali cultivates mango bagan, malta and banana trees on 3 bigha land of Abdul Quddus of 174 khatian of 174 khatian.
On May 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., Abdul Quader demanded a donation from him regarding the construction of sugarcane garden near Quddus of Markoil village of Fatepur UP. When Abdul Quddus refused to pay the contribution, the accused entered the garden illegally on the orders of Abdul Quader and created panic by causing a cocktail dispute. On that day, other defendants cut and destroyed 150 banana trees, 170 amropali and 80 malta trees in the stable. Estab Ali, son of deceased Sultan Ali of Paharpur village filed a case at Nachole police station on October 20/2024.
Nachole Thana Police arrested Farhad Hossain son of Monirul Islam Tuna Member of Mirzapur village and Lokman Member son of deceased Paru Uddin of Kholsi village from their respective homes on the night of October 20.
In view of this, Nachole Upazila Awami League general secretary and former chairman of Upazila Parishad Abdul Quader and organizational secretary Royal Biswas went to surrender to the court and the court sent them to jail.
