Jubo League leader Killer Faisal arrested for attacking student protesters in Ctg

RAB-7 has arrested Jubo League leader Faisal Prakash Killer Faisal. who opened fire with a rifle during the government overthrow movement in August in Chittagong’s Kotwali. However, no weapon could be recovered from him.

RAB-7 raid team arrested him from West Baklia DC Road Gani Colony under Chawkbazar police station on Thursday (September 19).

Arrested drug lord Faisal Prakash is the son of deceased Ismail Prakash Lalu Mia of Faisal Dewan Bazar area. He is associated with Jubo League politics. He is known as a follower of former Member of Parliament Mohiuddin Bachchu of Chittagong-10 Constituency in Chasik.

According to RAB-7 on August 5, when the peaceful victory procession of anti-discrimination students passed from Kotwali in Chittagong in front of the Laldighisth Zilla Parishad Market, Killer Faisal and 380-400 other accused were armed with firearms and indigenous weapons on the orders of two former influential ministers and 28 other accused. Armed with the intention of killing students, they ambushed the victory march of the students.

At that time, the participants of the victory march were fired upon indiscriminately and the students were beaten with sticks, Ram Da, and the students suffered serious bloody injuries.
The victim student Md. Robin (14) was shot in the left leg of the shooting and fell down on the spot with severe bloody injuries. Later, the students present rescued him and quickly sent him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for treatment.

Gunned Md Robin’s father filed a case against 130 named persons and 200/250 unknown persons at Kotwali police station of Chittagong city as the plaintiff.

He has been handed over to Kotwali Model Police Station of Chittagong City for further legal action regarding the arrested accused.
