Press conference to protest the spread of false news against BNP leader Fazlul Karim Chowdhury

Convener of Sitakunda Upazila Jubo Dal, Fazlul Karim, alleged that Chadabazi was falsely disguised to prevent the theft of scrap from moving trucks. Fazlul Karim Chowdhury, Convenor of Sitakunda Upazila Jubo Dal, made this complaint in a press conference at Chittagong Metropolitan Journalist Union Milnatan on Wednesday (September 11). Giving the details of the incident, he said that on September 7 (Saturday) at approximately 10:30 a.m. on his way to take his private car, he fell on his car while stealing from a truck carrying scrap on the port connecting road in Halishahar Wapda Gate area. Later, he caught the thief and called the owner of the scrap vehicle, the army came and took him and the thief to police custody. At that time, a person took a picture of my confinement in the toilet and spread it on social media. After seeing that picture, he claimed that the media published false baseless and fabricated news without investigating the details.

During the press conference, the leaders and activists strongly condemned this shameful and false incident.   Convening committee member of Chattogram North District BNP Zahirul Alam Zahir, Yusup Nizami, former president of North District Volunteers Dal Morsalin, organizing secretary of North District Jubo Dal Arangzeb Mostafa, personal assistant of BNP former Youth Secretary General Aslam Chowdhury Manjurul Islam, Senior of Sitakunda Upazila Jubo Dal were present in the press conference. Jugam convenor Sahabuddin Raju, Municipal Youth Dal convener Amlendu Kanak, Member Secretary Ziauddin, Upazila Chhatra Dal member secretary Korban Ali Saheed, Municipal Chhatra Dal convener Ismail Hossain, President of various Union Youth Dals of the upazila, General Secretary etc.
