China’s cooperation in the development will be continued – Chinese Ambassador

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen said that the Chinese government will always cooperate in improving the living standards of Bangladesh and the people of this country.
The Ambassador said this during a courtesy call on a four-member delegation led by Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen at the Secretariat on Sunday with the Advisor in charge of Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, Ministry of Power, Energy, Mineral Resources and Ministry of Railways Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan.
In a meeting held at the time, the advisor praised China for the friendly relations between the two countries and mutual partnership and cooperation in various developmental sectors of Bangladesh. He also mentioned that this interim government formed as a result of the collective sacrifice of the students will always be rigid against corruption, injustice and discrimination.
The Chinese Ambassador greeted and congratulated the Interim Government and mentioned the huge amount of investment in various projects of Bangladesh in the past period. He said, ‘China is one of Bangladesh’s development partners. The Chinese government is always interested in investing in projects that develop the people of Bangladesh.
At this time, he wants the cooperation of this government to finish the work of currently ongoing Chinese projects as soon as possible.
Fawzul Kabir said that the interim government has already taken many welfare steps. The advisor currently wants the financial and technical support of the Chinese government to build land-based gas plants, reduce the use of fossil fuels and increase the use of renewable energy, build battery energy storage systems and purchase train locomotives to overcome the country’s gas crisis.
The Chinese ambassador asked the Bangladesh government to formulate a long-term plan for investment in the green energy sector and assured the advisor of necessary financial and technical assistance in all areas by checking other sectors on a priority basis.
