Inauguration of training workshop for appointed health assistants of 15 upazilas of Chittagong. 5 day EPI training workshop was held for newly recruited health assistants at district level in 15 upazilas of Chittagong district.
The conference room of the District Civil Surgeon office was inaugurated on Sunday (August 18) at 10 am. The first batch of workshops will be completed on Thursday, August 22.

District Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Ilyach Chowdhury said, according to the instructions of the Upazila Health and Post Office, the appointed health assistants must perform their duties with honesty, loyalty, sincerity and efficiency. Children should be vaccinated as if they are children of their brothers and sisters. Humanity cannot be understood by clothes. Parents and guardians of children coming to the hospital or vaccination center should be treated well and tolerantly.
In coordination with Family Welfare Assistants in EPI Centres, Community Clinics and Health Complexes to carry out duties properly at workplace. Do not think of yourself as an administrator and work as a servant of the people. No such thing can be said as people will panic. Everyone has to deliver services to people’s doorsteps from their respective locations.
