National Fisheries Week started in Bandarban

The National Fisheries Week started with the due encouragement and organization of Bandarban. Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing MP, President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs released the pona fish in Sadar Upazila Parishad Pond as the chief guest on the occasion of National Fisheries Week on Wednesday (July 31). It was held in Sadar Upazila Parishad meeting room organized by Bandarban hill district council and District Fisheries Directorate.
Bandarban Hill District Council Chairman Kaw shwe hla yashihla presided over the function. Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Abdul Kuddus, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Umme Habiba Mira, District Fisheries Officer Abhijit Sheel were present at the event.
In the meeting, the speakers gave speeches on various directions for the development of fisheries resources and called upon everyone to work together to increase the fisheries resources.
