A team of Bandar  Police station  has arrested 10 men and women for indulging in anti-social activities in a residential hotel in the city’s EPZ.

They were arrested on Friday (June 28) in a raid at Hotel Moon at EPZ junction. Among the arrested are 5 women and 5 men.

Bandar police station officer OC Manjur Quader Majumder said a team of police station police arrested 5 women and 5 men after raiding a residential hotel. He said that the arrested persons do anti-social work in residential hotels in this hotel in the identity of husband and wife. If they are married, they have kabinnama, they fail to show kabinnama.

They have been sent to court for legal action against them.

He also said that raids will be conducted where these anti-social activities take place in Bandar police station area.

It is reported that the manager of the hotel ran away after hearing about the police raid.
