The first Hajj flight went from Chittagong to Medina with 398 passengers.

Hajj flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines have started from the port city of Chittagong. On Tuesday (May 14) 398 pessenger left for Madinah on the first flight at 4:30 am.
Earlier Chittagong City Corporation Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury formally inaugurated Chittagong Madina Hajj flight at Shah Amanat International Airport. He exchanged pleasantries with the Hajjis and wished them well.
Bangladesh Biman Chittagong manager Md presided over the opening ceremony Shahadat Hossain. Under the management of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 22 flights will go directly to Saudi Arabia from Chittagong for Haj pilgrims this year, of which 20 flights will go directly to Jeddah and two flights will go to Madinah.
