Animal Welfare Week and Exhibition-2024 was held at Kumarkhali in Kushtia to increase livestock production, create market for dairy products, encourage small farmers and entrepreneurs to produce cattle.
The program was organized by the upazila administration and the upazila livestock department on the initiative of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock at JN High School ground on Thursday. Under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) SM Mikhail Islam, Abdur Rauf, Member of National Parliament of 78 Kushtia-4 (Khoksa-Kumarkhali) Constituency, was the chief guest.
Upazila Parishad Chairman Abdul Mannan Khan, Vice Chairman Saidur Rahman, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Kumarkhali, Md. Amirul Arafat, Upazila Animal Resources Officer Alamgir Hossain and others were present.
