On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of My TV, one of the most renowned private satellite televisions in the country, a rally and prayers were held at Kumarkhali in Kushtia. On Tuesday morning, a colorful rally from the Kumarkhali Press Club ended at the Press Club after circumambulating the main city. Later, the ceremony ended with cake cutting and prayer ceremony.

Kumarkhali representative of My TV and President of Kumarkhali Press Club Lipu Khandkar presided over the event as the chief guest was Bakul Chowdhury, founder president of Kumarkhali Press Club and senior journalist. Among others present were Daily Sangram Correspondent Mahmud Sharif, ATN Bangla Staff Reporter KH Tuhin Ahmed, Bijoy TV’s Kumarkhali-Khoksa Correspondent Tanvir Liton, Mohana Television Correspondent Partha Sarathi Ghosh, Barta TV’s Khan Ataur Rahman Sujan, Daily Lakhokanth’s Samaruzzaman Samun, Channel S Correspondent Manowar Hossain, Masud Rana of Daily Amar Sangbad, Abdus Salam Antar of Daily Shamoyer Kagoj, Nayan Sheikh of Daily Kushtia Khabar, Palash Kumar Ghosh of Daily Manav Kanth, Bijoy Kumar of Daily Sangbad, Regional Bureau Chief Shaheen Biswas of Shamoyer Kagoj, Suman Parvez of Daily Kushtia Diganto, Daily Mirror of Bangladesh Mizanur Rahman and local dignitaries. At the end of the rally, guests celebrated the foundation anniversary by cutting a cake at Kumarkhali Press Club office.

The guests at the event wished the success of My TV and said that My TV has been providing objective news to people for a long time in the past. He expressed the hope that uncompromising objective news will be delivered to the country and the world in the future. At the end of the program, special prayers were offered for the family and viewers of My TV. Kumarkhali Ulama Parishad president Mufti Delwar Hossain Mazhari led the prayer.
