On the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day “Iftar and Doa Mahfil were held in honor of orphan students”. More than Six orphan students participated in this Iftar party held under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Shah Mojahid Uddin at Hillview Convention Hall on Sunday (March 17).

Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing MP,President of the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Hill Chittagong Affairs was present as the chief guest in the Iftar Mahfil organized by the district administration.Superintendent of Police Saikat Shahen,Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Mohammad Saiful Islam,Additional District wise Magistrate Umme Kulsum,Additional Deputy Commissioner (overall) Fazlur Rahman,Ndc Sheikh Abdullah Al Mamun and various public and private officials were present.

along with the civil society representatives and teachers and students from various orphanages were also present on the occasion.In this event,special prayers and prayers were held for the soul of the Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all the martyred members of the family.In addition the prayer seeks the prosperity and well-being of the country and the nation. Students of different orphanages of Bandarban district town and Sadar Upazila participated in this rare event and took Iftar.
