Joy Bangla Concert is coming to Chattogram for the first time Young Bangla, the youth platform of CRI, has been organizing Joy Bangla Concert (JBC) every year on 7 March commemorating the spirit of historic speech of 7 March 1971 by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. JBC has become more than a musical event; it is a platform to relive the spirit of freedom, patriotism and the historic 7th March speech of Mujib.

After visiting the stadium, Joy Bangla concert trustee and Minister of State for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid Bipu spoke to the journalists. Meanwhile, the minister said that the Jai Bangla concert is going to be held for the 8th time. However, this concert is going to be held for the first time in Chittagong. People of Chittagong have bought tickets with great enthusiasm in online ticket registration. The state minister has also sought everyone’s cooperation for the smooth completion of the concert.

This year, for the first time JBC is taking place outside Dhaka at M. A. Aziz Stadium in Chattogram, on 7 March 2024. Bands to perform this event Artcell, Chirkutt, Cryptic Fate, AvoidRafa, Nemesis, Meghdol, Lalon, Teerondaz and Karnival
