An organization called ‘CPRL’ Lab in Panchlaish area of the city was providing services without a license for a long time. chattogram district civil surgeon stopped the operation of the institution after finding its truth during the operation on Tuesday (February 27).

Chottogram Civil Surgeon Dr.Mohammad Ilyach Chowdhury this operation was conducted under the leadership. After inspecting various labs on the same day, the Civil Surgeon’s office took action against seven more labs and hospitals. As their various irregularities are visible, they are called for an apology.

According to the information of the Civil Surgeon’s office, due to the lack of doctors in the endoscopy and ‘ECG’ departments, the activities of the ‘Genetic Lab’ of Panchlaish have been announced temporarily closed. Action was taken against the lab earlier on various charges. There was no doctor in X-ray department and ultrasonography department of ‘Medy Health Diagnostic Center’ in the same area. In addition to the suspension of the activities of those departments, these two institutions of Panchlaish have been summoned to apologize. Moreover, due to the lack of doctors in the ECG department, the ECG activities of ‘Eagles Eye Diagnostic Center’ in Panchlaish were announced closed.

On the other hand, not having a license from the health department, not keeping the price list in a visible place, not keeping any recruitment information of the working officers and employees, various errors and irregularities including blood collection by technicians without a diploma, Jamalkhan area’s ‘Lab Expert’, ‘Sensive (Private) Limited’, A total of four institutions, including ‘Innova Hospital Limited’ and Diagnostic Centre, have been summoned for apology.

Chottogram District Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Ilyach Chowdhury said that there have been several incidents in the country recently. So this campaign has started. The health department has conducted such operations before. Punitive action has been taken against those found to have committed irregularities in the operation.
