Md. Saidul Hasan, a child of Habiganj and Police Superintendent of Chapainawabganj, has again received the highest medal of Bangladesh Police for fighting crime with integrity. He was awarded this medal for his commendable contribution in solving important cases, crime control, efficiency, devotion to duty, integrity and disciplined behavior in the last one and a half years. On Thursday (February 22), the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification nominating him for the Bangladesh Police Medal (BPM) service.

Saidul Hasan is the second child of late educationist Khurshid Ali and Tahera Khatun of Jatukarnapara Mohalla of Baniachang Upazila in Habiganj. He is the eldest among four brothers and three sisters. He passed 25th BCS and was appointed as Assistant Superintendent of Police. Later from the post of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) at Police Headquarters, he was appointed as Superintendent of Police of Chapainawabganj. Saidul Hasan received the President’s Police Medal (PPM) in recognition of good work in his career.
Saidul Hasan was very talented from childhood. In 1995, he passed his secondary from Baniachong LR Government High School from Science Department and HSC from Sylhet MC College in 1997.
Later, after completing his graduation and post graduation from Zoology Department of Jahangirnagar University, he passed the 25th BCS Police Cadre.
