Chittagong University Communication and Journalism Department Alumni Association (CUCAJAA) organized the Annual Reunion-2024 in a grand manner.

The reunion was held on Friday 23February at Concorde Sea-World at Foy’s Lake in the city with the participation of over 600 past and present students, teachers, staff and family members.

On this occasion, president of CU Communication and Journalism Department, chief sponsor of the association and first batch student Roshan Akhtar Soma spoke in a short discussion.

President of CUCAJAA Mohammad Nazrul Islam Shimul presided over the program and presented the current activities and future plans of Alumni Association, General Secretary Md. Meeting of Noor Uddin Alamgir.

1st Vice President Mohammad Fazlul Karim and Vice President Parvez Mohammad Chowdhury also spoke at the event.

At this time, CUCAJAA Executive Council Vice President Mia Mohammad Arif, Joint General Secretary Tanmoy Majumdar, Organizing Secretary Rashed H. Chowdhury, Office Secretary Md. Jahangir Alam, Publicity, Publication and Public Relations Secretary Muhammad Rashedul Islam, Student Welfare and Social Services Secretary Md. Masood Parvez Milad and executive member Dilruba Akhtar Renu were present.

The day-long program included boat trips to Foys Lake, sea-world rides and water rides, traditional hosts, reminiscences of past and present students, performances by renowned music artists, exciting raffle draws and many more.

Journalists Rubel das were present the the programme, he said “I very much enjoyed the programme and few moment I feel like a bird to find my classmate along”.
