8 road works of Chapainawabganj municipality have been inaugurated. In the morning, the work of these roads was inaugurated at Angariapara-Paikartala intersection of Chapainawabganj municipality. The construction cost of these 8 roads has been estimated at 1 crore 96 lakh 83 thousand 852 taka.

All these roads will be worked under the fourth package of the project titled Local Government Covid-19 Response and Recovery Project-LGCRRP. Under the package, 1.580 km road and 156 meter drain will be constructed.

Abdul Wadud, Member of Parliament of Chapainawabganj-3 Seat, spoke as the chief guest at the opening ceremony organized by Chapainawabganj Municipality.

Mokhlesur Rahman, Mayor of Chapainawabganj Municipality presided over.

Chapainawabganj Municipality Executive Engineer Toufiqul Islam, District Awami League Vice President Aminul Islam, Municipal Awami League President Principal Abdul Jalil, General Secretary Roknuzzaman Rokon, Awami League and its affiliated organizations and local leaders and activists were present.
