The team bus of Chattogram Challengers was damaged in an accident at Sitakunda on the way from Dhaka to Chattogram.
The accident took place around 6:30 am on Sunday (February 11) in Chhota Kumira Machajidda area.

The incident has been confirmed by Chattogram Challengers. However, it was reported that there were no players-officials of the team in the bus at that time.

Deputy Inspector (SI) of Baraulia Highway Police Station Shah Alam told that the bus lost control and hit a car when the front wheel burst. The car was damaged.

Team boys were in the car at that time. Team Challengers has already left Dhaka.

Shubhagat Home is leading the team in this year’s BPL. This team from Chattogram is third in the list with 5 wins in 8 matches and 10 points.

The Chattogram phase of the BPL season starts from February 13. Challengers will face Comilla Victorians in the first match at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium
