Thai game and visa fraudster arrested in Kishoreganj

Kishoreganj Thana police arrested 5 members of the Thai game and online visa fraud gang who lured common people hostage through the internet of Kishoreganj upazila of Nilphamari.
According to police sources, 6 gamblers were arrested from the switch gate area of Teesta Bridge in Chengmari area of Kishoreganj Union of Upazila on the basis of secret information late on Wednesday night.
Taking information from them, the police took Sujan Islam (18) son of Abdul Quddus of Gada Majhapara area to his house and seized a computer set, 5 mobile phones, cash of 3 lakh 56 thousand taka, 6 credit cards and special Thai game equipment from there.
At that time, Rabiul Islam Liton (28), son of Zikrul Haque (Jharial), Nurannabi (21), son of Mozaffar Hossain, Arnab (20), son of Sirajul Islam, chairman of North Durakuti neighborhood of Bahagili Union, Rafiq Islam (15), son of Chhayedul Islam of Rajib Chengmari area of Kishoreganj Union was arrested.
The operation was conducted under the leadership of Nilphamari District Assistant Superintendent of Police (Syedpur Circle) Kallol Kumar Dutta, Kishoreganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Palash Chandra Mandal, Police Inspector (Investigation) SM Sharif.
Palash Chandra Mondal, officer in charge of Kishoreganj police station said, regular operations will be continued to arrest the members of the fraudulent gang.
