Preeti Women’s Football Tournament was held at Sakhipur in Debhata. This football tournament was held under the management of Ashar Alo Organization at Sakhipur Government KBA College ground on Sunday (January 28) at 3 pm. In this, North Bengal women’s football team of Rajshahi division participated in the game against Satkhira district women’s football team. In the event, under the chairmanship of Sheikh Farooq Hossain Ratan, Advisor of Ashar Alo Organization and Joint Editor of Upazila Awami League, Satkhira-3 Constituency Member of Parliament Professor AFM Ruhul Haque MP spoke. Special guests were Upazila Awami League General Secretary Moniruzzaman (Moni), Debhata Police Inspector (Investigation) Nurus Salam Siddique.
Among others are Upazila Agriculture Officer Sharif Mohammad Titumir, Upazila Engineer Shobhan Sarkar, Sakhipur Government KBA College teacher Abu Taleb, Ashar Alo Executive Director Abu Abdullah Al Azad, Sakhipur Udayan Sangh General Secretary Mizanur Rahman, UP member Noor Mohammad, former UP member Akbar Ali along with others. People from different levels were present. In the game, Rajshahi Division’s North Bengal Women’s Football XI player Poppy scored 2 goals. In contrast, Satkhira Women’s XI was defeated by 0 goals.
