Gold worth 1.5 crore was found in a packet in Shah Amanat Airport CTG

14 gold bars found in a cigarette packet abandoned at Chattogram Shah Amanat Airport. It was seized by the National Intelligence Agency with a market value of around one and a half crore rupees. The gold bars were recovered from cigarette packets found on an airport conveyor belt this Friday (January 26) morning.
According to intelligence agencies, cigarette packets were also seen along with luggage on the conveyor belt. Later, intelligence agency officials opened the packet and found 14 pieces of gold bars. Its weight is one and a half kg. Its market value is about one and a half crore rupees. However, no one was arrested in this incident.
The gold is believed to have arrived at the airport from Sharjah on Air Arabia Airlines A9-526. The recovered gold has been handed over to airport customs detectives.
