Banskhali Constituency (Chittagong-16) candidate Mujibur Rahman has won with a huge margin.

He was elected from this seat by getting 57,499,000.
His closest rival, independent candidate Abdullah Kabir Liton (Truck) got 32,220 votes.

Apart from this, Mohammad Mohiul Alam Chowdhury (candle) of Bangladesh Islamic Front got 1 thousand 125 votes, Abdul Malek, the candidate of Islamic Front Bangladesh, got 503 votes.

The total number of centers are 114. In this constituency, 36 thousand 968 votes were canceled.
On Sunday (January 7), Chittagong district commissioner’s returning officer and Chittagong district commissioner Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman announced this result privately in the conference room of Chittagong district commissioner. Earlier, the Election Commission (EC) canceled the candidacy of Mustafizur Rahman, a candidate of the boat symbol, in this seat.
