Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Minister Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing said, ‘The Awami League government is committed to establishing peace in the hilly areas. If the Awami League government is formed in the future, I will change the face of development in Naikhongchari upazila. The government has continued development work in the three hill districts. There is no alternative to the Awami League government for the overall development of the country.’
He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at a function at Saleh Ahmad Government High School in Naikhongchari Sadar on Wednesday.
