Kabadi competition and prize distribution was held on the occasion of Great Victory Day. The competition was held on Wednesday (December 20) at the King’s Field premises. Bandarban Superintendent of Police Shaikat Shahin was present as the chief guest and enjoyed the game.

In the competition Bandarban Sadar Municipality Kabadi Team (Girls) and Lama Upazila kabadi Team (Boys) won the champion title.

During the speech of the chief guest, Superintendent of Police Shaikat Shahin said, Bangladesh is a country with great potential. We are known throughout the world as a nation of heroes. On behalf of the District Police, I thank all those who have supported this event in the month of victory. Sports will play an important role in keeping our next generation drug free.

Meanwhile, he wished all the players participating in the competition and the general public of Bandarban a great victory day 2023.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Hossain Md Raihan Kazemi, ASP (Crime) Abdul karim, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar) Shah Alam, District Sports Association General Secretary (Acting) Mujibur Rashid, Treasurer Mangsing Pru Najis and other officials of District Police were present.

After the game, Superintendent of Police Shaikat Shahin distributed prizes among the players of both the champion and runner-up teams. Bandarban District Sports Association organized this competition.
