192 children are dreaming by BNKS education program

Inauguration of Homebase Center for the project “Access Quality Education and Strength Resilience of the Rohingya Refugee Children Residing in Cox’s Bazar District of Bangladesh” was held at Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar.Senior Assistant Commissioner and in-charge of Camp-22 Saiduzzaman Chowdhury inaugurated Homebase Center on Monday (December 18).
At that time,Md.Abdul Hannan (Education Focal,BRAC,Camp-22) project coordinator of this project of BNKS,Miss Mumu Rakhine,Arunanshu Chakma,(CM,BNKS) and related people were present.In the opening ceremony,necessary educational materials were distributed among the children.Water filters are also provided at every homebase center to ensure clean drinking water.
Chief guest Saiduzzaman Chowdhury highlighted the need and importance of education.In his speech,he encouraged the children to come to the center regularly and take lessons.Meanwhile,he gave instructions to all the teachers in charge to conduct the education program with dedication.He wished the children a beautiful and bright future and welcomed such initiative of BNKS.
In the opening ceremony,Project Coordinator Miss Mumu Rakhine outlined the project’s goals and objectives.she said that Bolipara Nari Kalyan Samiti (BNKS) is conducting the implementation program to improve the early childhood development of Rohingya refugee children as well as educational quality.It is funded by the development cooperation agency Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).Miss Mumu The project is going to start operations in collaboration with development partner BRAC.
Miss Mumu Added Also,The project has received all approvals from Camp Incharge and Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner’s Office of Official Camp 22 to conduct the Myanmar Curriculum “Early Child Development Center (ECD)” education program aimed at the development of Rohingya refugee children in Teknaf Upazila Camp-22 in Cox’s Bazar District.
