Six-time MP Bir Bahadur filed nomination papers in bandarban

Bangladesh Awami League’s boat symbol candidate Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing has submitted his nomination papers for the parliamentary seat number 300.This nomination letter submitted to the Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner Shah Mujahid Uddin at the Bandarban Deputy Commissioner office on Wednesday (November 29).Earlier,Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing MP participated in a special prayer for the welfare of the country and mankind at the Bandarban district Awami League office.
Later,after paying homage to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,Bir Bahadur submitted his final nomination form to the District Returning Officer as a candidate for the upcoming 12th National Parliament election.Bandarban District Awami League President kyaw shwe hla,vice president kajal kanti das,General Secretary Laxmi pada Das and senior leaders of the party were present during the submission of nomination papers.On this day Mangye Pru Chowdhury also submitted nomination papers to the Returning Officer.
Meanwhile,National Party (Manju Group) supported candidate ATM Shahidul Islam is supposed to submit his nomination papers but he has not submitted yet.However, he said that he will submit the nomination papers within the stipulated period. Bandarban is a parliamentary seat number 300 with seven upazilas and two municipalities.The total number of voters is 2 lakh 68 thousand 30 people.
Incidentally,Awami League candidate Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing has been elected in this seat since 1991.Currently,Bir Bahadur is serving as the Minister of the Ministry of Mountains.
