In Kishoreganj of Nilphamari, BRAC Social Empowerment Legal Protection Program (SELF) organized a coordination meeting on prevention of child marriage at the union level.

 In the coordination meeting held on Tuesday morning in the Kishoreganj Union Parishad meeting room under the chairman of Kishoreganj Union Parishad Chairman Hossain Shaheed Sohrawardy Grenet Babu, BRAC Social Empowerment and Legal Protection Program (SELF) Kishoreganj Branch Officer Mokhlesur Rahman, Union Parishad Secretary Delwar Hossain, Kazi Raihanul Islam, Imams, UP members and women representatives were present.

 In the discussion meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the prevention of child marriage in the upazila organized by BRAC Social Empowerment and Legal Protection Program SELF. In the discussion meeting, the speakers thanked Brak for the child marriage prevention plan and the suggestion and plan to hold village-to-village meeting in 9 Union Parishads and villages of the upazila was accepted.
