The day was celebrated with the theme ‘We are building the country in cooperation, Bangladesh will be smart’. On this occasion, 12 best co-operatives at the upazila level have been given mementos.
Upazila Administration and Upazila Cooperative Department, Kumarkhali, Kushtia organized a colorful rally after which a discussion meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad Auditorium.
Upazila Executive Officer Bitan Kumar Mondal chaired the meeting under the direction of Md Akter Hossain. Upazila Cooperative Officer Mst Zahura Khanam gave a welcome speech on the occasion.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) Kumarkhali, Md. Amirul Arafat, heroic freedom fighter Chand Ali, heroic freedom fighter Mokaddes Hossain, Upazila Parishad Women’s Vice Chairman Marina Akhtar Mina and others spoke.
At the end of the discussion, the guests presented the mementos. At that time, the officers and employees of Upazila Cooperative Society and the members of the cooperative society were present.
