Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman National Gold Cup Football Tournament, Boys (U-17) and Bangmata Fazilatunnessa Mujib National Gold Cup Football Tournament, Girls (U-17)-2023 were inaugurated at Bandarban district level.Bandarban Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Md.Saiful Islam inaugurated the competition organized by Bandarban District Administration and District Sports Office on Wednesday (October 25).

Municipal Mayor Md.Samsul Islam,District Sports Association General Secretary (Vice President) Mujibur Rashid,Member Dilip Kumar Dey was present as a special guest in the inauguration ceremony.

Lama upazila boys team beat Bandarban Sadar upazila team by 2-0 in the inaugural game organized under the overall supervision of Bandarban District Sports Officer Main Uddin Milki.The tournament is sponsored by the Sports Directorate of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.Bandarban District Sports Association is cooperating.
