National Local Government Day is being celebrated in Bandarban in a festive atmosphere with various events.On the occasion of the day,a colorful procession was taken out from the Deputy Commissioner’s office organized by the Bandarban Municipality on Sunday (September 17) morning.The procession ended at the municipal office after circling the main road.Later,a discussion meeting was held on the occasion of the day in the hall of the municipality.

Deputy Commissioner Shah Mujahid Uddin was present as the chief guest in the meeting.The meeting presided over By Municipal Mayor Md.Shamsul Islam.

Additional Deputy Commissioner SM Manjurul Haque,Municipal Chief Executive Officer Arup Ratan Singha,Executive Magistrate Rajeeb Kumar Biswas,Local Government Engineering Directorate (LGED) Executive Engineer Md.Ziaul Islam Majumdar along with District Administration,Municipal Corporation,various government department officials and Municipal officials were present. Councilors along with civil society representatives were present.
