On Saturday, September 9, at the Himchhari Conference Room of Ramu Upazila, Cox’s Bazar District, in collaboration with the Directorate of Agricultural Extension, the Minister of Innovation, Development and Extension of Domestically Appropriate State-of-the-art Agricultural Machinery Innovation, Development and Extension Funding Project “Farm Machinery Research Program for Mechanized Rice Cultivation (SFMRA)” is being implemented by Bangladesh Rice Research Institute Rakamshala was held. Rabindrashri Barua, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Director General Dr. Md. Shahjahan Kabir, Director (Administration), Upazila Development Officer, Deputy Director of Agriculture Extension Department, Project Director, Agricultural Officers of different Upazilas of Cox’s Bazar, Modern Agricultural Machinery Manufacturer, Supplier, Domestic Entrepreneur were present. Upazila Agriculture Officer Tanzila Rahman presided over the program. Additional Secretary (Extension) Rabindra Sri Barua thanked the project director for inventing modern agricultural machinery. Deputy Director, Directorate of Agricultural Extension (Cox’s Bazar) spoke about the importance of rice transplanter and seed sowing machine for agricultural mechanization.
