On the occasion of the 93rd birth anniversary celebrations of Bangamata Begum Fazilatun Nesha Mujib,Sewing machines,training allowances,certificates and donations were distributed among the women’s voluntary associations in Bandarban.Last Saturday Bandarban District Administration and Directorate of Women Affairs jointly organized sewing machines,training allowances,certificates and grant checks to women.
The Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) was present as the chief guest in the program organized under Presided By The Deputy Commissioner Shah Mujahid Uddin.As The Speech Of Chief Guest The Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) said that the government has ensured the social and economic security of women.Due to the strong leadership of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the development of women continues and the government continues to provide free training,allowances and sewing machines for the economic development of women.
On the occasion,certificates and training allowance were given to 180 women who received training in computer application program at the Directorate of Women Affairs.At this time,1 sewing machine was distributed to 45 women and check of donation of eight lakh five thousand taka was distributed to 28 voluntary women’s associations.The event was held at the Upazila Parishad Auditorium.

Shah Alam,Municipal Mayor Md.Shamshul Islam,Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman AKM Jahangir,Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Umme Habiba Mera,Sadar Upazila Land Officer Nargis Sultana,Women Affairs Directorate Bandarban Deputy Director Atia Chowdhury,Press Club President Aminul Women members of various voluntary women’s associations including Islam Bachchu were present on the occasion.
