The closing and award distribution of Bangabandhu and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Primary School Gold Cup Football Tournament-2023 was held at Kamalganj of Moulvibazar. On Tuesday at 5 pm in the organization of upazila administration and upazila primary education office, present as the chief guest in Tilakpur field, the president of the committee on estimated accounts, former chief whip, Vir Muktijoddha Alhaj vice-principal Dr. Md. Abdus Shaheed MP.

Under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Joynal Abedin and Upazila Scouts Secretary Mosahid Ali, the special guest was Upazila Parishad Chairman Bir Muktijodha Professor Md. Rafiqur Rahman, Mayor of Kamalganj Municipality. Jewel Ahmed, Kamalganj Upazila Awami League President Ashlam Iqbal Milan, General Secretary Advocate ASM Azadur Rahman, Kamalganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sanjay Chakraborty, Upazila Awami League Former President M Mosaddek Ahmed Manik, Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Bilkis Begum, Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee President Imtiaz Ahmed Bulbul, Upazila Education Officer Saiful Islam Talukder and others.
In the concluding game of the tournament, Adhakani Government Primary School defeated Mirtinga Cha Bagan Government Primary School-1 7-6 in the Bangabandhu Gold Cup and Kamudpur Government Primary School defeated Mirtinga Government Primary School 3-1 in the Bangmata Gold Cup.
A total of 20 teams participated in the tournament.
