Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the boat has moved upstream all its life. The boat has passed through storms and is working for the development of the people today. Boat brand gave freedom, boat brand gave economic development, boat brand gave digital Bangladesh. The boat will be provided by Smart Bangladesh.
He said these things while addressing the chief guest at the Sudhi rally at the old trade fair ground in Agargaon Sherbangla Nagar of the capital on Saturday around 5 pm.
The Prime Minister said, I have only one job. Changing the fate of the people of Bangladesh. From the dark age that was, the people of Bangladesh started their journey to the path of light. We have fulfilled every promise we have made. That’s why I want to say in the words of the poet Sukanta, ‘As long as there is life in the body, life is the garbage of the world, I will make this world habitable for this child – this is my firm promise to the newborn.’
He said that the development in each sector in these 15 years, today Bangladesh is a role model of development to the world. Today the world looks on in amazement. We have limited resources, but the father of the nation said, ‘After independence, many international organizations asked the father of the nation – your country has no resources, what will you build the country with. The father of the nation said – I have land, I have people, I have gold fruits in my soil, I have gold people, so I will build the country. We are building the country with that.
Mentioning that he gave another new gift to the people of the country in improving the communication system with the capital, the Prime Minister said, “Today, I inaugurated the part of the Dhaka Elevated Expressway PPP project from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to Tejgaon. I gave it to you as a gift.
Pointing out the need for political stability to continue the development of the country, the Prime Minister said, we have seen many things like arson, murder, disappearance and murder. By passing them, Bangladesh is moving forward inshallah. will go ahead
Earlier, around 3:30 pm, the Prime Minister took the stage to unveil the plaque of the much-awaited construction of the Dhaka Elevated Expressway at the Kawla Toll Plaza next to the capital’s airport. He inaugurated the Dhaka Elevated Expressway by pressing the button.
At this time Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Rehana, Bridge Minister Obaidul Quader, Bridge Secretary Md. Manjur Hossain and Dhaka Elevated Expressway Project Director AHMS Akhtar and others were present.
After the inauguration, the project authorities briefed the Prime Minister on various aspects of the Dhaka Elevated Expressway. After that, the Prime Minister rode the elevated expressway along with his younger brother Sheikh Rehan to the rally in Agargaon. At that time there were 25 cars in his fleet. The Prime Minister paid the toll of all the cars in the convoy. At that time he gave 2000 rupees. He visited the country’s first elevated expressway from Kawla end to Farmgate. After 16 minutes, the Prime Minister got down at the Farmgate end of the elevated expressway. Then at around 4 pm, the Prime Minister appeared on the stage of the Sudhi rally in Agargaon.
Bangabandhu’s youngest daughter and Prime Minister’s younger sister Sheikh Rehana was with him at that time. Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader welcomed them at the venue.
