Akash, a 6th standard student of Dinajpur’s Hakimpur Upazila, is dying day by day due to lack of treatment for a hole in his heart. Father is a day laborer and mother is a housewife. This is how their family lives. The doctors said that within a month Akash’s heart will have to be operated. 4 lakhs is required for this. It is not possible for a day laborer father to collect so much money.
Abdul Khalek of Naopara village in Hili border area of Hakimpur upazila of Dinajpur is a day laborer by profession. Due to heart leak, doctors have suggested surgery within a month.
Chairman of local Boaldar Union Parishad, Chadarul Islam, said, after knowing the matter, I applied to the Upazila Social Services Directorate along with his medical documents. But it will take time to get that money. Therefore, I am inviting all the rich people of the country and abroad to come forward for the treatment of the child.
