Earthquake again in Sylhet. This earthquake was felt around 1:13 pm on Tuesday. The earthquake lasted a few seconds. Its magnitude was 3.5 on the Richter scale.
This information has been informed by the Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center of Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
According to the Sylhet Meteorological Office, the epicenter of the earthquake is at Dauki, India, 18 km from Jaintapur in Sylhet.
Before this, on August 14, an earthquake was felt in Sylhet around 8:49 PM. The origin of that earthquake was the same area near Kanighat upazila bordering Sylhet. The magnitude of which is 5.5 on the Richter scale.
