Md Jahirul Islam liton, Nandail (Mymensingh)

A child named Araf (6) was hit by a fast bus on the way home after the exam in Nandail, Mymensingh. The incident took place on Monday (August 28) around 11:30 am near Nandail Model Mosque on Mymensingh Kishoreganj highway. The deceased child Araf is the son of Al Amin of Jhalua village of Ward No. 4 of Nandail Municipality.
According to local and highway police sources – Shishu Md. Araf studies in Pre-Class at Amin Islamic Kinder Garden School adjacent to Nandail Model Mosque. On Monday morning, on his way back home after school exams, while crossing the Mymensingh Kishoreganj highway, a Dhaka villager from Tarail was hit by a bus of Ruhan Paribahan and died on the spot. On receiving the information, the police of Nandale police station recovered the body.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nandail Highway Police Station. Shafiur Rahman said on the phone – the child was killed by a bus while crossing the road. In this incident, the bus along with the bus driver has been detained at Trishal police station.
