The Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) Said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the rice distribution ceremony as humanitarian aid among the flood victims of 9 wards in Bandarban Municipal area.Minister Bir Bahadur also said that people have suffered a lot in this flood.

It will take a long time for the people of this region to recover from this loss.Minister Bir Bahadur assured that the present government will help these affected people as much as possible.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Bandarban (Overall) Fazlur Rahman,Mayor of Bandarban Municipality Md.Shamsul Islam,Additional Superintendent of Police Shah Alam along with ward councilors and beneficiaries were present.

Mayor of Bandarban Municipality Shamsul Islam said that 10 kg of rice has been distributed to each of the 3,500 affected families as humanitarian aid.Bandarban Municipality will provide such humanitarian assistance to the affected people who have not received assistance Next time.

It is to be noted that the victims of the municipal area have expressed their satisfaction by receiving 10 kg of rice after the Bandarban Hill District Council’s cooperation and management of the Bandarban Municipality.

However,due to the creation of a biased list of municipal councilors, it is known that some negative questions are being created in such an initiative of the government. Many of the affected public in the municipal area say that if the municipal mayor directly verifies such prepared lists, then this great initiative will benefit the public and the image of the government will be brighter.
