He said this at a short rally before the black flag march in front of the BNP central office in Nayapaltan on Friday (August 25) afternoon. At the end of the short rally, the Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP marched with black flags from Nayapaltan to Dayaganj to demand the resignation of the government.
Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, a member of the BNP’s standing committee, said in the rally, “I don’t worry about death.” No one can stop our movement when we are on the road to die.

Addressing the law and order forces, Gayeshwar said, your job is to catch thieves and robbers. It is not your responsibility to protect them.
In the president’s speech at the rally, Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP convener Abdus Salam said that our ongoing movement cannot be stopped by shooting. Rather, the movement will be more rapid. How many will I do on the day I make trouble?
Besides, BNP Vice Chairman Barkat Ullah Bulu, Publicity Secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anyi and others spoke in the short rally.
Earlier, the black flag rally was scheduled to begin at 3 pm but was delayed due to rain. At one point, ignoring the rain, the leaders and activists of the party started coming to Nayapaltan with a procession. After the short rally, the black flag march came out from Nayapaltan. The procession passed through Arambagh, Motijheel, Ittefaq intersections and ended a little further along Rajdhani Super Market.
