Housewife’s hanging body found in Sadullahpur

The police recovered the hanging body of a housewife named Akhi Begum (22) in Sadullapur, Gaibandha.
The dead body of the woman was recovered from her house in Zainpur village, adjacent to the telephone office of Sadullapur city, on Monday (August 21) at around 8 o’clock in the morning.
Akhi Begum is the wife of Mamun Mia of that village and the daughter of Abdur Razzak Mia of Satalia village of Saghata upazila.
The deceased’s husband, Mamun Mia, said that he slept with his wife on Sunday night. In the meantime, on Monday morning, Akhi was not found at home and a search was launched. Later, his hanging body was found in the kitchen of the house.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadullapur Police Station Mahabub Alam said, after receiving information, the body of a housewife named Akhi Begum was recovered. After the postmortem report will be sent to Gaibandha Sadar Hospital morgue for post mortem. After receiving the report, the cause of his death will be known.
