Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, said that the statement of an officer in the meeting of police officers has spread on social media. Such partisan statements by senior police officers are a sign of one-sided elections.

He said these things in front of the party’s central office in Nayapaltan in the capital on Sunday at a human chain organized by the Nationalist Tanti Dal Dhaka Metropolitan South. The human chain was organized to demand the release of the central joint convener of the organization, Rezaul Karim Rana.

Rizvi said, the law enforcement forces are the forces of the state. They are paid with public money. They get all facilities including house rent with public money. But while senior police officers speak the language of the Information Minister, the Jubo League-Chhatra League speak the language of the leader; Then the next election will be terrible is subject to speculation! People will not be able to vote in that election. Stay away from opposition participation, can’t even compete. That election will be one sided, another blue pattern election. The evidence of that election process is the partisan speech of senior police officers.

Rizvi also said, ‘The Awami League government has become isolated from the whole world. There may be one or two countries. There they are wringing their hands and feet, begging and begging to be kept in power as they wish. It is heard that an influential minister of Awami League has sent 2 tons of hilsa to the journalists of the neighboring country Kolkata.

Adviser to BNP Chairperson Abdus Salam, Voluntary Affairs Secretary Mir Sarfat Ali Sapu, Co-Organizing Secretary Selimuzzaman Salim and others were present in the human chain under the chairmanship of Nationalist Tanti Dal convener Abul Kalam Azad and moderated by General Secretary Mojibur Rahman.
