Hanging body of housewife found in Madhavpur

The police recovered the hanging body of a housewife named Minara Begum (26), mother of one child, in Rasulpur village of Jagdishpuur union of Madhavpur upazila of Habiganj.
On Saturday morning, SI Deen Mohammad recovered the body and sent it to Habiganj morgue for post-mortem.
Deceased Minara Begum is the wife of Rafiqul Islam of Daulatpur village of Bahara Union of Upazila.
According to police and family sources, Minara Begum, daughter of Noor Uddin village of Rasulpur village of Jagdishpuur union of the upazila, got married to Rakikul Islam of Bahra union about 3 years ago. After marriage, a girl child comes to their family. For some time now, there has been discord between husband and wife over family matters. and physically tortured Minara. Two days ago, Minara moved from her husband’s house to her father’s house. Friday night after dinner goes to the room to sleep. In the morning, the family members called a lot but did not get any response from Minara, broke the door and found Minara hanging on the wall of the house. After reporting to the police station, the police recovered the body.
Officer-in-charge of the police station, Md Rakibul Islam Khan, said that legal action will be taken based on the family’s complaint.
