On the initiative of Srimangal Press Club of Moulvibazar, reception was given to the children of journalists who achieved success in the SSC examination.

On Friday (August 18) evening, the reception was organized by the Srimangal Press Club in the hall room of the Press Club.

Upazila Executive Officer Ali Rajib Mahmud Mithun was present as the chief guest in the event under the chairmanship of press club president Biswajyoti Chowdhury and editor Imam Hossain Sohel.
Secondary Education Officer Dilip Kumar Vardhan, Principal of Victoria High School Ayan Chowdhury were present as special guests on the occasion.
The students who achieved achievements are: Press Club President Biswajyoti Chowdhury’s son Subarna Shikhar Varna Tabla achieved meritorious results at upazila, district and divisional level, Iftekhar Ahmed Mahdi son of Associate Editor (Sports) Mamun Ahmed got GPA-5 in SSC examination, Associate Editor (Literature and Publication). Bishwajit Bhattacharya Bapan’s son Bishwapriya Bhattacharya Kavya got GPA-5 in SSC examination, Al Rafi Mahmud Dakhil son of functional member Sultan Mahmud Rakib got full merit result in exam, Manjida daughter of member Sahabuddin got full merit result and Sadia Islam Esha daughter of member Shamsul Islam Shamim got full merit result in SSC exam. Honorable crests and awards are distributed for obtaining GPA-5 in the examination.
Besides, press club member expatriate journalist Tofail Ahmed Pappoo presented crests to students and pens to journalists.
