If India’s diplomatic message about Bangladesh to the US is true, it is unfortunate. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir commented that it will not be good for the security of the region.

He said this after paying respects at the tomb of Ziaur Rahman on the occasion of the 43rd foundation anniversary of the volunteer group on Saturday.

Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, if India takes action against the will of the people of Bangladesh, it will be sad. It will not bode well for the security of the region.

Stating that India is interfering in the internal affairs of Bangladesh, the Secretary General of BNP said that this cannot be expected from a democratic state like India. India will surely see what the people of the country want.

Weakening Sheikh Hasina will not be good for the United States. Mirza Fakhrul said in reference to media reports about such a message from Delhi, We hope that India will give dignity to the democratic aspiration of the people of Bangladesh, and will truly support the elections with the participation of all parties.

He said that there is no possibility of any fundamentalist coming to power in Bangladesh. We believe in the strength of the people of Bangladesh.
